Dr. Wayne P. Wagner, B.S., M.S., D.C.

Dr. Wagner grew up on Long Island, NY. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, exercising, and riding his motorcycle. He is passionate about chiropractic, and loves serving his patients.

After graduating high school, Dr. Wayne worked for a large defense contractor, Grumman Aircraft Systems, for five years as an avionics and instrumentation technician. He worked on a variety of military aircraft for the United States Navy and Air Force, as well as projects related to this country’s space program.

Dr. Wagner moved to Marietta, Georgia in 1992, to complete his Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in nutrition, prior to entering Life Chiropractic College. While completing his chiropractic curriculum Dr. Wayne pursued his desire to advance his knowledge and ability to help people by enrolling in a graduate program focused on sports medicine.

He completed his Bachelors of Science Degree in Nutrition, graduating magna cum laude, Salutatorian of his graduating class in December, 1993. He finished his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, graduating magna cum laude, in March, 1997. He completed his Masters of Science in Sports Health Science majoring in Athletic Training, in September, 1997. He was a member of the National Deans List from March, 1992-September, 1997. Dr. Wayne received certificates of specialized study in the following areas; Biomechanics of Sport for the Chiropractor, Sports Physiology for the Chiropractor, and Sports Injury Management-Diagnosis and Assessment. While at Life University completing his graduate education Dr. Wayne completed an internship at Sports Therapy Associates, a prominent outpatient physical therapy clinic, working with college and professional athletes recovering from various surgeries. Dr. Wayne performed extensive research, and worked with the lead physical therapist, developing a multidimensional rotator cuff syndrome protocol incorporating chiropractic care of the shoulder complex.

Dr. Wagner is always striving to expand and improve his abilities to help his patients and the people of his community. He practiced in New York from 1998-2016. He has been practicing in Goldsboro, North Carolina since 2016. He looks forward to spending the rest of his professional and personal life in beautiful North Carolina.
